For all the good things he did while at UGA, Perno was a bigger anchor to the baseball program than Grantham was on football.

Polk coaching tree. Surprised he wasn't "punched in the gut" when you didn't let him hire the next guy for you.
I think Georgia is on about the same trajectory Tennessee was under Serrano when he took over. You'll be good in time -- but it probably won't be in years 1 or 2. Year 3, you should be "back". May be ready to compete in year 2 given all of the talent in the immediate surrounding area of Athens.
