Get through your barntard brain homer.....Saban has been on the record about the HUNH for awhile. He is a defensive coach at heart. He thinks the HUNH gives an unfair advanatge to the offense. Therefore, he doesn't like it and is using his bully pulpit to try and change the rule. This benefits Saban and thus benefits Bama.
I for one am glad to have a coach who wants to win so badly he does everything on and off the field that is legal to do so. That is what makes Bama and Saban so succesful. It doesn't make Saban wrong, it makes him smarter than you.

So basically you're saying that lying to get your way is ok as long as it helps your cause. Boy, you are one ethical person.

No he is mad because he cant sub in his player packages for each play, because of his inability to evolve

It's not being smarter because everyone can see right through the safety facade.

Life does not revolve around bammer. There are 100+ college football programs who want the game to be played fairly and want to win and have a good time JUST AS MUCH as bammer. Hard to believe, I know.
So you support a coach who clearly knew which way the wind was blowing when he INVITED HIMSELF to this committee meeting. He knew the majority of coaches did not support changing rules to slow down the game. And yet he was arrogant enough to push for this rule although he knew it would displease 85-90% of all coaches and fans. Why? So HIS coaching job would be easier, not because of any thought of safety but a convenient premise to hide behind.
So even now, knowing that the majority of people would hate the rule change, you're still defending your coach for being selfish enough to want it changed for him.
