If One Mississippi School was Ejected from SEC, Who Would it Be?

And what conference would the outcast land in?
Mississippi schools no longer contribute value to the SEC. Therefore, one Mississippi school could be ejected from the SEC in the near future if this trend doesn't change.
The SEC could invite a North Carolina or Virginia school and move Mizzou to the West where they belong.

Ole Miss
But if we are going to start kicking schools out it would either be yall or Arkansas.

Mizzouri would be first on the chopping block.

It really would be a tough decision. Ole Miss is probably a bigger "name" despite doing nothing of importance in any of the three big sports in the last 30 years. However, at least Mississippi State has been to the SECCG, the Final Four and the CWS Finals.

I'd rather trade Mizzou for Wichita State

Picking on Mississippi just feels too mean. Not cool.

Miss St, they would land in the new Big12-ish.

If anybody gets asked to leave, it would be the Yankees who nobody really wanted anyway. Don't go thinking that Mizzou wouldn't get booted out if someone else came calling & asking for spot #14

I would like to permanently move Ole Miss to the Hell Conference.
We can keep State around.

Missouri followed by Arky

To answer the OP Arky imo would be first out.

Pretty sure Mizzou would be asked to leave first.
You were not liked coming in and these questions do not help your case.
I have a dream, one day Ole Miss and MSU will combine into one entity and Southern Miss will be moved to 1-AA. From a sports standpoint, Mississippi is wrong to have 3 FBS schools. The population and monetary resources are not there.

I feel so bad for Keelz. He started a good-natured thread, basically just asking a question, and then this happens.

Ole Miss brings the Memphis TV market. Not Tennessee, not Arkansas, not Alabama. Ole Miss.

Neither MS school will ever be kicked out of the SEC. No one would vote for it. Why? Because you'd be creating an imminent powerhouse at whichever MS team remained. You would create a situation where football championships could very realistically be won in your smallest market. Anyone with foresight could see that logical progression and would never go for it.
As is, the MS schools divide the very good and underrated talent in MS roughly equally -- and it keeps us both good but never great. If you allow all of that talent to consistently go to one school, you have created a situation not much different than LSU enjoys in Louisiana -- with PLENTY of in-state talent to field one legit competitor consistently.
