So Clay Jennings was really never going to move above corners coach so this was the right move for him if he has higher ambitions whether it be being a coordinator or having more say and control over the defense/secondary

He said as much in his introductory press conference tonight. He said that he wants to be a DC one day and he knows that will never happen just being in charge of corners. He said that he wanted to go somewhere where he could have the entire secondary so he could prove himself and move up.
