People keep saying 2015, but I really think 2016 is "our year". Pretty good chance we have a three year starter at QB (if Hill wins and doesn't leave early, definitely if Allen wins) a receiving core littered with upperclassmen and every starter on defense SHOULD be in at least their third year on campus.
Next year, our awesome 2014 class will just be sophomore and RS freshmen. We're still gonna be relying heavily on underclassmen in 2015. The trick is going to be riding out the storm and not having a bad year due to inexperience and throw off our recruiting momentum. It would be VERY easy to go 7-5 next year and we can't let that happen. We have to win at least a couple out of USC, MSU (wont be easy on the road), Bama, Auburn, Mizzu, LSU. I know people will say "but look what happened in 2012" and the fact is that 9 of our 11 wins were expected and the SEC had an unusually high number of bad teams. Mizzu, Ole Miss, MSU and Auburn at least will all be much better than they were in 2012 and we still get USC, LSU and Bama as well.

This. Hopefully the young team improves and peaks at the end of the year with upset candidates being Mizzou and LSU at home.

There's 4 sure wins(SMU,Lam,ULM,Rice)
Two losses(@Bama,@Auburn)

With MSU, Arky, and Ole Miss being so early in the year I think we stumble against one

I can't wait to see what the new team can do against South Carolina!

I think we absolutely MUST beat Mizzu looking at our schedule. Given that it is at home, it is probably our second or third easiest game behind Arkansas and maybe Ole Miss at Kyle. Mizzu lost something like 12 starting seniors, many of them redshirt seniors. They were the mot experienced team in CF IIRC.

If we lose to Mizzu, we frankly might end up at 6-6. If we aren't good enough to beat them at home, we likely wont win any of USC, Bama, Auburn, LSU or MSU.

The toughest part looking ahead to next year is the number of games we are HUGE longshots to win. USC in a new QBs first game would take a Herculian effort (they've lost one home game in the last four years) and Bama and Auburn on the road are even more unlikely. I hate having so many games that even most Aggies have to admit we likely wont win.
