Georgia is ranked sixth? Bogus.

Georgia is currently ranked third in the conference after going 8-4 after 12 games - a pretty good representative sampling.

So the SECr ranks Ole Miss ahead of us. We just beat them and they are only 6-6 in conference play.

Then the SECr ranks Tennessee ahead of us. They are only 6-6 in conference play. But hey, we haven't played them yet and they may very well kick our arses in Knoxville tomorrow so I'll give you that one. I mean, by any objective measure, Georgia should be ranked ahead of them as of today. But I'm feeling generous.

Then we have Missouri. We beat them at their place and they are currently 6-6 in conference play. And y'all have them ranked third.

I officially declare the Official Week 7 Basketball Power Rankings to be a heaping pile of flaming biased horse shite.

Have a nice day.

I think what you're seeing is a reflection of parity in the "pack" part of the conference. The 4 teams ranked at the top of the SEC are the 4 teams in the tourney based on the latest bracketology. I see your argument - but you're leaving out overall records, stats, intangibles, etc. The power rankings is not simply a W-L record.

Neither the Dawgs or Tigers were filling up their respective arenas in the non conference. Folks show up to watch good opponents, and neither was scheduling tough in pre conference.
