Farmer gets it. We were not great this year and still had 95+ even for our least interesting games. I think in bad years we will see the same but our proximity to Houston where a huge majority of our fans and Ags live and work is huge.

It will look bad on tv for the weak OOC opponents because of the get there late and leave early mentality. But who cares? 100+ for every game against someone with a pulse is the future (and really present) for Texas A&M

That, and the fact this isn't a renovation for next year; it's for the foreseeable future. Our graduation profile is unlike most higher eds. Classes for our older Ags had very small graduation sizes. Now we're pumping out more graduates than all save 4 or 5 universities in the entire country. Our former student profile is changing. Namely, the average age of our former students is very low compared to most, and as those students age, they'll have more income and means to buy tickets. It's simple math. The short-term economy may not appear desirable; but the overriding theme is our former student footprint; and it's growing....
