yeah strange game.
UCLA hasn't really lost to a bad team other than Arizona State. You look at Colorado, Utah, Washington, Wazzu, and even Stanford, and those teams are just beating up on each other (well, except for Washington, who hasn't really played anyone yet).

My Daughter is there now, plan was to go into the Marine Research field at HRI but now she's changed over to business and I'm telling her she needs to plan to transfer to CS and Mays but she doesn't want to leave CC. Surfs before class, beach party's across the street from her dorm, killer weather, small classes, she has quite a list lol.

Sounds like she's wasting your money. I remember being told in high school that it didn't matter where you went to college, just as long as you majored in what you loved. From Community College to Rice, it was all practically the same...
...what a load of crap that was! Being part of the Aggie Network or being a UT grad carries a lot of weight in this state. I remember being asked once if the "Texas A&M University" on my resume was THE real one and not A&M-Kingsville or San Antonio.
People from those schools intentionally leave the directional part out because they know they get called in for interviews if people think they're Aggies. Just saying...make her education worth your money.

I say I am an Aggie with a MBA and a lot of people assume I got my MBA at A&M.

You're not alone. I remember Eva Longoria once claimed to be an Aggie.
She graduated from A&M Kingsville. Don't get me wrong, I'll take it.......but still

I actually have a "real" A&M undergraduate degree and a ring. But my undergraduate is a joke compared to any business degree.

My freshman year (09) was their first year with a mechanical engineering program.
After witnessing that clusterfrick, I'm amazed they still have any engineering programs.

Careful that almost sounds a lil sippy like , when her initial plans were to go into a marine biology field then CC was as good as anyone in the country given the fact HRI is housed on campus. After some volunteer work with them and talking to some people in the field she's decided to go a different route. She's carries a full load with a great gpa and works part time so I'm to worried about her wasting my money but thanks for the concern
