Manson's plan was to hide out in a bunker in the desert during the race war. He failed to trigger it, of course, but maybe he was just 50 years too soon...

No way man. Way too cold for me. I'm headed for the Lost Coast of California. You ever been in or by there? It's an enormous section of the northern coastal part of the state that is mountainous, beautiful, filled with redwoods, and there are hardly even any ROADS into it, much less people. The coast moderates the climate so there's not much snow but plenty of gloom, which is perfect because I still love grunge.

this a-hole thought he could trigger one too but what really happened was DPD and the protesters worked together and all did their very best in an awful situation.
the cops didn't shoot the frick out of everyone, nobody attacked the cops, there was no rioting, and the worst that happened outside the coward arse murderer was some mild theft at a 7/11 that was done by a few drunk pricks who probably are the types to try and shoplift regardless of the situation.

Without sarcasm, you gotta be proud of Texas in general and North Texas in particular for how these two events went down (other than, of course, for the a-hole murdering scumbags).

I'm a bit concerned about the method of killing the bad guy.
In a vacuum, it's clearly justified, but I wonder if its a slippery slope and that it won't be as clear a cut case next go round.
