No. It's not. Here are some key differences for starters:
1. The pitcher is ready before the batter even leaves the dugout. So yes...if the offense was, like the pitcher, already and always lined up, then obviously the offense is at a distinct advantage and the rules would need to accommodate for that. As it is now, the defense has 1 more second than the offense and can still be in motion at the snap...while the offense has to be set.
2. Actually 1. above is all that is needed to fully put this misanalogy to bed.
