Weird bc Aubies and Aggies seem to think this is all some great plot to take them down outside the lines. I doubt Berry and Calhoun are motivated by stopping Gus, Hugh, and Sumlin.

It's so surreal that we have short angry midgets making rule changes in college football

Well yeah. You don't get this rule passed if you do.

This was all about player safety for 56 of a 60 minute game.

This is on off year for rule changes and only player safety issues are up for consideration during an off year.

Bert and Nick know this.

Of course they're not going to mention strategy in this ruse.

What would Arkansas fans have thought about this rule when Petrino was coach?

Some Bama fans are saying Bert is pushing player safety and Saban is pushing unfair advantage.

Sounds like 3 foot rubber boots were needed for that meeting. Piled thick and high.

Are you really this stupid? Of course they aren't going to discuss this as a strategy move. It is an off year for changing rules #1, and #2 the only way a change can be made is calling it safety for the players. None of them will admit to it being strategy anyway.

As has been discussed plenty they haven't even introduced any data to back up their claims the HUNH causes more injuries.

If it's true that an increased number of plays = increased number of injuries and all we are concerned about is player safety.....why have the game at all?
