Snobbiest town I know of and I'm including Dallas and NYC. High cost of living. Yuppies and pan handlers.

This is consistent with everything I've heard about it.

But how would that compare to Nashville? Do they have the same issues with snobs and cost and yuppies and pan handlers and whatnot?

On the flip side, amazing local talent, great bar scene, tons of awesome parks, best music scene in the country, and good food.

Lots of towns have that.

I hate Texas with amazing passion but I have never seen a campus/bar scene with that much talent.

None.

Maybe I've been married too long, and I behave myself but when I am on 6th street I am absolutely amazed every time.

I haven't been to Nashville, but I have a hard time thinking of any town I've been to where the people absolutely think they are the height of class whether it's the thugs, hipsters, college students, country club yuppies, or old millionaires.

People in Nashville are mostly pretty friendly, the highest number of beautiful girls that I have ever seen anywhere.
The trick to enjoying Nashville, is to stay away from the tourist stuff.
The real music scene in Nashville isn't down by the river..it's over by 16th avenue, and south of Demonbreun.
