Frankly with our last four series, a national seed is a pretty big stretch regardless. But if we play well enough in them to merit consideration (like 8-4) then a few midweek losses won't really matter at all. I doubt we do that though, I'd be thrilled if we finish these last four weekends 6-6. That'll get us a regional host.

I expect us to finish 3-3 or 2-4 @ LSU and SC and 4-2 or 3-3 with MSU and Florida at home. It would be nice to take this weekend and go into next weekend tied for the lead in the SEC. We need to build momentum with an even bigger series following that in Baton Rouge.

I've lost confidence. Gaspard is a solid coach, but he's not Jim Wells. I know we should be good again next year, but we've got to learn to manage a bullpen and create run production with small ball.

And apparently Tucker Hawley is in a walking boot at practice today. He'd be on a very short list of possible game three starters this weekend, depending on how the first two games unfold.

Overstreet had a two-out hit in the 1st, scoring Salem. Left a couple more on the corners. 1-0 Alabama, B1.

A throwing error on Vincent on a possible double play ball allows the Gamecocks to tie the game, then take the lead on a RBI groundout.

Yea they got the first two on (the second on a walk), but Turnbull would've gotten out of it unharmed without the error.
