The first thing I'd do is tell my son "I love you and I support you" if he came out. But I'm not going to sit here and say it wouldn't make me want to drink.

Would you tell the media? That's the real problem I have here. I understand if he's disappointed... but to publicly come out against your son? I don't get it

Interestingly, he told the paper that "he loves his son and hopes he makes it into the NFL."

Hopefully he told his son the same thing.
