He probably could have articulated his displeasure in a different way, besides saying he couldn't eat anymore so he went to get drunk.

The first thing I'd do is tell my son "I love you and I support you" if he came out. But I'm not going to sit here and say it wouldn't make me want to drink.

Why? He was just being honest and open about himself as well. How come Sams gets kudos for being open and honest, but his dad could have articulated himself in a different way?

Not agreeing or disagreeing with either the son or the father here, I just don't understand the reasoning behind your comment?

Who cares? Jeez, I never would have thought that the SECrant of all places is full of pansies. The man can say whatever he wants and if you don't like it STFU. What does any of this have to do with prison anyway?
