As far as how it will impact recruiting, I think it will be positive. They are a family, and respect each other's differences. Respect is a core value of the program. If any coach negative recruits over it, they should be ashamed. What would they have had Mizzou do? Kick him off the team? Allow it to become a divisive locker room issue? No. I'm proud of how Mizzou handled this.

I think that you used the right word that Sams' teammates "respected" his homosexuality or were "accepting" of it BUT apparently were not "supportive" of his homosexuality.
