Did you read any of the articles written about this topic, or are you just pontificating for it's own sake? His announcement, and the timing of it, was purely his decision. Mizzou didn't make any announcement. And only commented after he made it public. Mizzou had nothing to do with that. Please stop being ignorant.

As far as how it will impact recruiting, I think it will be positive. They are a family, and respect each other's differences. Respect is a core value of the program. If any coach negative recruits over it, they should be ashamed. What would they have had Mizzou do? Kick him off the team? Allow it to become a divisive locker room issue? No. I'm proud of how Mizzou handled this.
