I agree about Auburn game. However, I do think we played about as good as we were capable against USCe and LSU.

I thought that but then I disagreed. South Carolina and LSU still torched our defense. South Carolina may be as close to as a perfect game to their potential as they had but one has to factor in 1) the onside kick and 2) the 8 min drive at the end. The defense was hardly on the field and still gave up 30. The biggest play they had was a 4th and goal stop where they let Shaw and Davis pick them a part right down the field. That play call for USCe on 4th and goal was also absolutely terrible but I'll credit Herrera? with the play. Basically, as we all knew later on, the offense was the key to this team. The offense won that game with TOP and obviously scoring. The defense merely slowed down the USCe onslaught kind of and the STs were a non factor.

LSU, though, was completely offense. USCe at least UGA had a few moments but outside of a few key sacks and a decent pass rush in the end the Georgia defense was completely routed. Teams that score 44 shouldn't win by 3 and truth be told when we scored that last TD I fully expected Georgia to give up another TD. Floyd/Jenkins saved that game but I won't say that Georgia played to their potential in a game that required the offense to play lights out while the defense played so very poorly.

And I guess that's my point. I am not saying Georgia wasn't very good when healthy, they absolutely were, but they did NOT play to their full potential on anything but offense. If giving up 41 to LSU and 30 to USCe was to their fullest capabilities then we are truly boned next year. But, IMO, I luckily don't think that's the case
