i think even the supreme lockstep homers of the aggie faithful can see that being #15 after losing JFF, Evans, and Matthews is a bit ridiculous.

lowspark12, here's the thing: Those players are leaving; and they're being replaced by other good players.

As for whether or not I agree with the ranking … no clue. I'd be just as fine with ESPN's ranking had they made that list by taking all 25 of those teams, writing their names on separate pieces of paper, and drawing them randomly from a bag.

Meaningless.

Only an idiot would put the Aggies in the top 5 after losing Ryan Tannehill, Cyrus Gray, Jeff Fuller, their entire starting dline, half their secondary, and the Groza Award winner...especially if they start a freshman at quarterback.
