So in 2000 years I guess books written by John Grisham can be ignored as well, because it will have been so long ago we couldn't have proof that he existed. There are other writings from disciples that didn't make it into the bible and are in fact, historical documents. Do some research.

The funny thing is that liberals and atheists take the writings of the likes of Homer who wrote the Odyssey as absolute fact that it was written by a Homer who existed, yet there is hardly any supporting evidence of a Homer at all and there is far more evidence of Jesus

There are also plenty of areas in the Bible that have shifted when translated as well as changed to appease those who were in power at the time. This is widely known. YOU do some research.
