The most awkward social moments I have is when a friend of mine invites me to hang out with his other group of friends. I've stood awkwardly in a kitchen full of 30 year old (viiirrrrgiinnn)males excitedly discussing "graphic novels" while drinking, and managed to contain my laughter.

I can't imagine hanging out with a group of those people. 
The boyfriend discussing Game of Thrones and the details of todays court sessions are enough to bore me to death.
