"According to the Arkansas Racing Commission, electronic games of skill (EGS) wagers at Oaklawn totaled $476.27 million in the first five months of 2013." Mississippi gambling down 13.5% in 2013 while Arkansas rose 20%.
That surprises me- I've only been in Oaklawn's casino a few times but was never that impressed. Probably because the games were weird and had a horse race thing associated with them. But out of 4 of us who went last time I was the only one who got carded and I was 40- that's something I won't forget to rub in.
