I am unsympathetic to the 40yr+ crowd who dominates these casino's when they were educated in the same Arkansas public school system (by tax payers) as myself and then decided to make their own personal choices on how to spend their money.

Those same people you're speaking about know the odds and how to play the games very well. They are not ignorant to the odds but like the action. We all have our vices. If a 70yr lady wants to place bets and likes the action more power to her. As for the government assistance realm, feel free to vote for people to change the system.

Arkansas was losing millions to Missouri on their lottery and now we are keeping the money in the state and sending more kids to college. If the 40yr+ crowd wants to give their money away I want them to do it in Arkansas, not Oklahoma, Mississippi or Missouri. Those individuals have already long been educated by the same system.

The smart ones will be able to buy cheap when it all comes crashing down and it will. Education/psychology is to blame and nothing else. Guess who funds and sets the guidelines for the subpar education system we have in place?

I am not trying to get political. I am all for helping our state keep dollars home while crushing the competitive market of neighboring states, to which all have gambling. Furthermore, creating jobs.

Arkansas is finally fencing off the the out flux of 100's of millions of dollars that formerly went to neighboring states economies.
