That's almost half the class.
Last year we got 2 from those states.
As a point of reference... I heard on the radio that Missouri never pulled a Texas recruit that received a Longhorn offer during our XII days. Not one. So the fact we held onto Nate Brown, Tavon Ross and our other early commits (who later received home state offers) is indeed significant.

which brings up another issue. We have a hard time holding on to our highly ranked in state recruits.
