According to this person we feel we have the best facilities in the SEC, and we want results to match. The key point was that if we do make a move we won't do it on a budget, this particular person has the means to ensure that by himself.
Hyman didn't tell him to "manage his expectations"?

He wouldn't tell that to this person that, no way. No freaking way. It would be like a mid-level manager telling a board member what to do.

It was either Hyman, Kennedy, or Cook (I think it was Cook TBH) that said a while back on TA Radio they are going to start doing a ton of changes inside and out so it doesn't feel like a generic hospital building anymore.
Good. We need better club seating and we need it now. I think that is the only way to get the resources BBall needs to be competitive.

the primary problem is most of the big money has zero expectations for hoops.
It is my theory that they are disconnected from it.
Please correct me if I am talking out of my arse again, but from the BMAs I know it seems that one advantage we have over say Texas is that they are engaged if it is in front of them.
What I mean by that is I have read on other (admittedly non-SEC) forums that their big donors in the boxes treated all the games like social events and barely cared about what was going on. I feel our BMAs are at least engaged in whatever is in front of them and are passionate about ALL Aggie success.
Per that theory, I think if we had club seating at the level Texas does they would go to more bball games. I think if they went more they would be unhappy with the product and be willing to spend the money to fix it (like hopefully baseball).
I could be completely wrong though, as I could just know the BMAs that are engaged in the games.
