UGA had one of their best recruiting years a few years ago when they went 6-7 losing to UCF in a bowl game.

The wins and losses aren't as impoertant as you might think if you are the flagship univ in your state and have $$$$ we do. Yes we are the flagship btw and don't insult me about the girls school crap. Look at how many collegiate lic plates are sold in Florida and UF kicks the girls school azz....merchandise sales? Ditto...number of fans in the state? Ditto.

Besides the recruiting is so in flux and commitments mean diddie right now....I think we are going to win the SEC east crown...even if we lose to UT. The east winner is going to have 2 losses. Mizzou has only played 1 SEC game and will lose a few...including one in the Swamp. The west is powerful with Bama and Moo State the two best imo with A&M, AU & Ole Miss all neck and neck. Arkie is capable of upsetting someone. UT has to play Bama and at Ole Miss. Mizzou has to play at UF, UGA at home, @ Texas A&M, @ UT and UK & Arkie at home...UGA has to play @ Mizzou, AU, @ Arkie, @ UK, and of course UF in the WLOCP

6 - 7 is different than what we're experiencing.

Florida went 4 - 8, we lost to an FCS who didn't complete a single pass all game and who performed better defensively than us.

We almost lost the year before that to ULL (or at the very least went to overtime).

This year our best win is against Kentucky who, while improved, should not be giving us the fight of their life.

Then we got absolutely manhandled by Alabama, they beat us in every single way except turnovers and we still got beaten by three touchdowns and scored on at will.

Recruits know our head coach is in the dumpster already, we're talking about who is going to replace him and while it may be a little premature, it's going to affect young men.

I love you, you're a good guy on these boards, but we have got to start 1. Winning 2. Playing as a team and 3. Supporting our team and all of the players -- no matter what our bias is.

It is affecting recruiting, and it will definitely do more damage later.
