For A&M:

QB - A+

Kyle Allen is the #1 QB in the country and is in school for the spring. Recruited specifically for the Sumlin Offense.

RB - D

No running backs signed. The only reason this isn't an F is because A&M has 4 backs on the roster (none are seniors) and 2 more 4 stars committed for 2015.

WR - A

Of the four signed, only Jamal Jeffrey won't see the field immediately. Would have been A+ if we could have gotten Dupre.

TE - I

Don't really use the TE in our offense. Frank Iheanacho can grow into one if necessary and we have a 4-star TE signed for 2015.

OL - A

Full crop of O-linemen and only the JUCOs need to play immediately.

DE - A+

Myles Garrett is the #1 player in the country on half the sites and top 5 on others. Qualen Cunningham is no slouch either. Johnson may even contribute if he's ready. Allows us to move Julien Obioha back to his natural position at SDE.

DT - A-

Would have been nice to get Josh Frazier, but Henderson should be able to play immediately and we can redshirt Washington.

LB - B

Needed Young to really make it an A, but filled the claring deficit at SAM. Still concerned that there's no impact player at Mike with Claiborne moving to WILL.

CB - B-

Harvey is an impact player, but he's the only one signed. Whiffed on Tony Brown.

S - C

Don't get me wrong, Watts and Wilson will be solid players, maybe even impact starters, but this was the biggest need and Marcel Yates absolutely fricked us...taking Dylan Sumner-Gardner and basically pushing Steven Parker to OU. Made a late push for Mattrell McGraw, but it might have been too late.

QB - A-. White will be a good college QB, but lacks the pure athleticism of other top end guys out there.

RB - A(assuming pettway makes it in). Roc is an unreal talent, and pettway has tons of potential.

WR - A. DQ is a potential 1st rounder immediate impact guy and is an EE. Signed some decent high school prospects as well, but will need time to develop.

OL - B+. Only signed one high school OL, but no real need for more b/c of our current depth. Braden Smith is a freak and has great work ethic. A potential three or four year starter after a RS year. Dampier is a JUCO center who has time to develop to fill Dismukes role.

QB: A
Love Sean White. Deadly Accurate.

RB: A
Not much of a need here. Got Roc Thomas who will be a stud. Add in Kamryn Pettway and I have no complaints.

WR: B+
Could've done better. Got D'haquille who will be a instant impact and probably one and done. Truitt is a quality pick up too. We're pretty full already on WRs. Would've preferred one high rated guy.

TE: B
Would've liked an elite guy. Jakell Mitchell and Chris Laye aren't too shabby though.

OL: B-
Only need was a center. Filled that spot with an average JUCO player. Also got a big commitment from Braden though.

DL: A
Mix of high rated JUCO and HS guys. Very happy here.

LB: B+
Tre Williams was a huge pickup for us. We need quality LBs bad. Deshaun Davis is solid but I really wanted Evans.

CB: A+
Definite position of need. Got two highly rated guys in Ruffin and Bessent.

S: A+
Moncrief should be an immediate contributor. Roberts will be a good player for us back there too. Boston has potential.

Ole Miss:

QB: D

3* Kendrick Doss is the only QB we signed.

RB: B

D.K. Buford is going to be a beast.

WR: A+

Markell Pack is going to replace Donte Moncrief easily.

TE: F

Only signed Jeremy Liggins, who might play defense.

OL: A+

4* Rod Taylor, 3* Tyler Putman, 3* Sean Rawlings, and 2* Talbot Buys. Them plus Laremy Tunsil will be beast.

DE: B

Breeland Speaks will fit nice with Robert Nkemdiche.

DT: A

Gerrald McDowell and Chris Williams look like they will fit nice on the line with RN and Speaks.

Special Teams: A++++

We signed the #1 kicker in the country, Gary Wunderlich.

QB - A

Brandon Harris is a great dual threat prospect that's already shown solid leadership skills through the Under Armour game and his efforts to solidify the rest of the class.

RB - A+

Leonard Fournette. Sky is the limit. Darrell Williams would be the best back in most classes and could see some PT as a freshman too.

WR - A+

Two top 10 WRs (Quinn and Dupre) plus Chark and Upchurch... solid top to bottom. Dupre is the #1 or #2 WR in the country and Quinn broke all the HS WR records.

TE - A

Jacory Washington is a highly coveted prospect that anyone would have wanted in their class.

OL - B-

Great prospects in Clapp and Brumfield, but I really wish we could have recruited a couple more this year.

DE - A

Godchaux is a great prospect...big and athletic... and Teuhema was a great pull this morning. Held on to the #1 recruit out of Oklahoma (Deondre Clark). We missed out on a couple of really highly touted DEs in this class (to UF and UGA), which offers some disappointment here, but it's still a great haul.

DT - A

Staff hit a home run picking up 2 DTs in the final hours. Valentine is enormous and Trey L will be great too.

LB - A-

Garret could start right away at ILB, and is a natural leader. Alexander is a fine prospect too. Could have used Kenny Young.

CB - B+

Ed Paris will be a star and did a lot of work to get this class where it is today. Gage earned a late offer and looks like he could be a solid contributor. Unfortunately we couldn't reel in Tony Brown or Adoree.

S - A+

Jamal Adams is going to be an absolute stud. Devin Voorhies has been a solid Tiger for over a year and has reeled in the accolades in his senior season. John Battle is so much of a sleeper that I had to edit him in here.

Alabama:

QB:
Jacob Coker transfers in to be the presumptive starter in the short-term. Top 5 pro-style and 4-star QB David Cornwell signs as an early entree to compete for the job. No arguments here.

RB:
Bo Scarbrough is a 5-star athlete that will probably be more of a RB/WR hybrid. No other RB in the class, but the position is loaded with young guys alredy.

WR:
Two 4-stars in Cam Sims and Derek Kief. Nothing wrong with that as there is again loads of young talent already on campus, but probably the weakest part of the class.

TE:
Ty Flournoy-Smith is a JUCO guy originally from Georgia. 3-star recruit who was one of the top JUCO prospects.

OL:
One of the greatest offensive line classes I can remember seeing on paper. #1 OT Cam Robinson, #1 JUCO OT Dominick Jackson, and a top-10 OT Ross Pierschbacher. Also signed the top two centers in the nation and top 25 guard from Florida.

DL:
Stacked. #1 player Deshawn Hand, 4-star DT Josh Frazier, and two other 3-star high school DTs. Also signed a 4-star DT and a 4-star DE from JUCO for immediate depth.

LB:
Again, loaded. Signed 2 of the top 3 OLBs in the country and two 4-star ILBs.

DB:
Stacked, again. Two of the top three CBs in the nation and two top safeties.

Got lazy there towards the end, but basically our class is insanely loaded across the board

QB - A

Cornwell was the top rated Pro Style guy until he was injured. If he is fully recovered he will be a monster in Kiffin's offense

RB - I

We didn't sign a true RB. We've already got somewhere between Threve and $TEXAS on roster

WR - A

We signed Cam Sims and Derek Kief. Both are 4 star Possession Receivers in the mold of Kevin Norwood.

TE/H - B

Ty Flourney Smith if he stays out of trouble could provide the key that makes our offense go a respectable Hback/Motion TE.

OL - A+

Stoutland left the cupboard pretty bare. Cristobal absolutely went to work signing 6 big bodies, 5 of them elite guys. One of the best overall OL classes I've seen put together.

DL - A

If the game is truly won and lost in the trenches then Alabama should be ok going forward. Landing Rivals Top Player in Hand goes a long way, but the strength of this unit is the Depth. With us being a 3-4 team signing 6 DL guys provides immediate depth to a unit that has a lot of young talent on campus already.

LB - A

You can tell Saban wants to improve our speed on the edge. In addition to the above mentioned DL, we added 3 fast OLB's. In the past we have looked more for bulk at the Jack/Sam but with Miller, Evans, and Clark the emphasis is on speed. But despite all three being fast, they don't lack for talent or size.

CB - A+

Also an area when seemed to emphasize speed this year. Only two guys but both are 5 stars and are pretty good track athletes. Brown enrolled early but got off on the wrong foot with a discipline issue. Anyone who saw us this past year saw some youth but also the need for speed on the edges and depth. Brown and Hump fill those needs perfectly

S - B-

Hootie Jones is an above average Strong Safety but we needed at least one more elite guy.

ATH - A

Good News - We signed two athletes. Scarborough can be an impact player at any number of positions (RB, WR, HB, S, LB). I am not a huge fan of Holcombe but he is a legacy and will be a good GPA Booster. Any time you can get one of those types of guys and he is still a 4 star then that is just a plus.

K - F

This in no way reflects Scott's talent (which is hard to grade coming out of high school) but the simple fact we should never take Scholarship kickers. Get several walkons each year and when a guy contributes and does well then give him a scholarship. Kicker is such a flighty position that our Walk ons under Saban have greatly overperformed our Scholarship guys.

QB- A+ Cornwell and Coker are both 6'5" 240+ and both are mobile (cornwell rushed for over 700 yards as a junior), both have rocket-laser arms, cornwell will go through spring and Cocker has been on a similar offense for 2 years and should probably be able to plug right in. both have the arm talent to make any throw, both are legitimate run threats that will have to be respected.

RB- A Bo Scarborough has all the tools to be a complete beast at RB, and could be equally effective at receiver. a very rare prospect

WR- B- Kief and Sims are both huge athletic WRs with great hands. neither one is a burner

TE- B- The JUCO kid we got will probably be the best H-back we have on campus when he arrives, considered the best TE coming out of juco this year

OL- A++ Best oline class i can remember anyone getting

DE- A+ Hand is a beast consensus top 5, #1 on rivals. Pettway is a monster as well, and will beat you up and take your money

DT-A- Reed is a beast, one of the best JUCO tackles and will go through spring, Frazier is a monster. smith and dwight are huge powerful guys with tons of upside

LB- A++ Evans, Miller, SDH, Holcombe, Clarke (may grow into LB). best LB class in the country

CB- A++ 2 of the 3 best corners in the country, best CB class in the country

S- B Hootie is a great physical safety, clarke also will be if he doesnt get too heavy. B becasue we didnt really get the FS ballhawk kind of guy

The best part is we took 3 of our 6 5 stars directly away from divisional rivals, which is the tits

QB: B - Kendrick Doss looks good for our offense, but could end up at another position. We'll see.

RB: B - We grabbed a nice scat-back in Buford and a bruiser in Judd. I'm not sure that either will be game changers, but Judd will help enormously just because we lack size at RB right now.

WR: B - Markell Pack and Dayall Harris will do nicely in this offense. McKenzie would have elevated this score.

TE: A - Sammie Epps looks like a stud flex TE and Jeremy Liggins could end up here, giving us an extremely athletic true TE.

OL: A - We signed 5 OL and needed the depth badly. Rod Taylor will play immediately at guard, as will JUCO OT Fahn Cooper.

DL: A - Breeland Speaks, Garrald McDowell, Victor Evans, Chris Williams. And JUCO Marquis Haynes. Headliners and depth. I'm excited about this part of our class.

LB: B - Demarquis Gates will be a stud. JUCO Christian Russell will fill an immediate need at MLB.

CB: A - We finally signed some elite CB talent in Kendarius Webster and JUCO Tee Shepard. Also DJ Law if he qualifies.

S: A - CJ Hampton and the Moore twins (legit 4.4 guys). I'll take that all day every day.

Special Teams: A - Top ranked kicker Gary Wunderlich. Yes.

DB: A+ - Not only in quality but in size of the class and the needs we'll have next year at the position. It should be a substantial need but we've gone a long ways towards filling it with one of the best DB classes we've ever signed...

DE: B+ - Very similar to the DB position above...we have more options at DE than we had for CB next season, but we've improved it with quality. High 4*s Sawyer and Wideman headline this class (Wideman most likely projects as a DT down the road, but should see opportunities early on as a SDE). Reason why this isn't a solid "A" is due to academic questions for several of these guys...

DT: A - Another solid position class, with 4* Lamin and high 3* Stallworth, in addition to Wideman who will be a DT down the line. Not the biggest position of need for next season but we've added great depth...

LB: A+ - With the success of our young LB depth this past season, USC is fine at the position for 2014 and beyond. But we still pulled in a top LB 4* prospect in Allen-Williams: we were on top of him when others were looking elsewhere; stayed on top of him when he had a flat period during camps in the spring and summer, and were there all along when he blew up in the Army AA game, and everybody else came running. He's a great person as well as player and will be a great future leader for USC. Could also develop into a DE in time...

OL: A- - Added 2 quality OL in 4* Stanley and high 3* Young. Probably could've used another OT to this group: could've been a "A+" with misses in Spain and Prince...

QB: C - Not the greatest QB class but our need wasn't there for the position this cycle. We missed on Barker who chose UK, but even he was only a take because of his talent and interest at the time for USC. Both Scarnecchia and grayshirt Baldwin have potential, but both are clearly projects...

RB: D - IMO this one was rated so low because not only did we miss on our primary target for this cycle in Scott, it is also at a position of moderate to high need at USC: high only due to the rash of injuries USC has had at the position in recent years. Joe Blue was brought in to be a FB, but now is looked at as a big RB for us. He's a gamer, but we under-performed here for this class IMO...

TE: NA - Can't really grade this position as we didn't have a need for it and didn't really recruit for it. We are bringing in two prospects who have been rated as TE by the online services, but both are really ATH players that we'll use at the HB and DE positions. If the HB position is considered a TE type, then 4* Crosby is as good as any to sign...

WR: A - Only brought in 2 for this class, but 4*s Davidson and Samuel were great additions...

QB - N/A

Didn't sign one.

RB - A+

6'3 235 lbs Jalen Hurd will be the #2 RB from the beginning. Butch is basically building this team around him. Derrell Scott will be an excellent compliment to Hurd's bruising style of play. Treyvon Paulk was one of the best RB's in GA before he blew out his ACL in September. He will likely redshirt.

WR - A+

JUCO Von Pearson will likely be our #2 WR immediately, either outside or in the slot. Josh Malone has superstar talent and could be a starter day 1 as well. Both are EE's.

TE - A

Daniel Helm is one of the best pass catching TE's in the country. Ethan Wolf is more of a blocking type of TE. VOLS got almost zero production from this position in 2013. Both will likely be #1 and #2 on the depth chart in the fall. Both were EE's.

OL - B

JUCO Dontavius Blair will replace Tiny Richardson at LT. Coleman Thomas could be the day 1 starter at RT. Losing Orlando Brown due to grades stung a little bit.

DL - A
Dewayne Hendrix is the stud of this group. Could push for SDE starter day 1. Signed a total of 8 DL with 5 of them being 4*. Best DL haul in years for VOLS. Would've been an A+ had we been able to keep Lambert.

LB - A
Dillon Bates is the best of this group and could see a lot of PT next year. #1 JUCO LB Chris Weatherd could be a starter at OLB. Gavin Bryant and Jakob Johnson both have big potential at MLB.

CB - B+
VOLS needed a massive speed upgrade at this position. Adding Evan Berry, Payne and Moseley should help a ton. I think Ev. Berry is extremely underrated and could be a star for UT. Rashaan Gaulden is probably UT's most underrated recruit and he could factor in at either S or CB.

S - A+
Todd Kelly could be a starter at SS early in the 2014 season. Cortez McDowell has big potential at FS. VOLS terribly needed speed in the defensive backfield and they addressed their needs very well.

K - A

Aaron Medley will handle placekicking duties next season. Could be the KOS but not sure yet.

Quarterback: A - Rafe Peavey was ranked a top 10 QB

Runningback: D - Only one signed and he was hurt nearly all of his senior season, but it wasn't a big need at all

Wide Receiver: B+ - We got everything we needed, a possession receiver(Cornelius), a tall receiver(Edwards) and fast slot receiver(Robinson)

Tight End: D - Jack Kraus signed, but he is more of a blocking TE, would have been higher had Pierce qualified

Offensive Line: A+ - signed four 4-star OL including the #2 OT in the country Brian Wallace

Defensive Line: B - Could end up higher depending on how Thibodeaux picks sometime this month,

Linebacker: C+ - Ended up with 3 LB'ers, but none with definite immediate impact abilities, which we needed.

Defensive Back: A- - Signed some MUCH needed help at DB, headlined by Henre' Toliver

Kicker: A+ - signed the best HS kicker in history, what else do I need to say?
