I don't know shite about hockey or really follow it that closely but I love to sit down and watch it if I happen to flip to it. That's my useless contribution to this thread.

He's 7th in points despite being 9 goals ahead of anyone else in that category.. so yes I'd say there are several better overall. His +/- is terrible at -18

Blues have no elite forwards, so no one even close.
Ovie is the most dynamic, full-throtle player in the league. Pure goal scorer who is probably more physical than he should be.
It's a shame he hasn't had better teams around him, even when the Caps were challenging the Pen's for best in the East they had some huge holes. Ovie being so great made up for it.
But he's like a flamethrower that doesn't really have great secondary pitches, usually those guys struggle when they loose some heat. He hasn't lost anything yet, but I expect it will happen, especially with his reckless style. Wish he was a better two-way player, just don't think it's in his nature.

I love hockey.....once the Stanley Cup Playoffs start. I don't watch much regular season.
