What a lot of people don't realize is we can survive without him especially with Venters and Alex Wood who with some work I think will be great!! Don't get me wrong I would hate to see him go but we can't pay people that kind of money Ted doesn't own the team anymore

The problem is that no one really knows if Venters will be as good as he was considering that he's coming off of his second Tommy John.

I like Wood going forward as a SP. Not saying he will be in the rotation this year, but I think that he can be a decent number 3 down the road.
