The 5 biggest things that could happen on National Signing Day

1. Either Florida State or USC could jump Alabama with the No. 1 recruiting class this year. The Crimson Tide have held the top spot in the national recruiting rankings for the last five years, but if the Seminoles or Trojans can lock down their last remaining touted targets they could steal that No. 1 spot for themselves. USC could still sign five-star cornerback Iman Marshall, and FSU is on the brink of locking down a slew of four-star prospects still left unclaimed.

4. The SEC could have 13 of the top 30 recruiting classes in the nation and 14 of the top 40

5. Cece Jefferson will have the best signing day press conference of any prospect in the 2015 class. Jefferson has been as vocal as any recruit in the nation on social media, hyping up the schools he’s considering on a regular basis, as well as their fans. When he finally does announce his decision, be it on National Signing Day or another day near it on the calendar, expect some theatrics and drama to take place, and perhaps some deception as well as Jefferson finally brings his recruitment to an end.

With just one week left in the 2015 recruiting class, let’s take a look at the full schedule for National Signing Day.

Here’s an early look at the February 4th schedule, and if the times change, we’ll update those accordingly:

9 a.m.
DE Byron Cowart (ESPNU)
Finalists: Florida, Auburn, Florida State, Alabama

3 p.m.
DE Cece Jefferson (ESPNU)
Finalists: Florida, Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida State

would need 4 5* & 4 4* players, FSU would need 2 5* & 5 4* players to tie ustie right now. We'll lose a 3 & 4* pair of DBs, but add at least Carlot. If Prince leaves, we still won't land anything less than a 4, so I really doubt they jump us.
