Players who were discussed as five-stars included Beckner, Masina, quarterback Deondre Francois from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, and that was pretty much it. Now, if I was simply doing the rankings myself, some things would be a bit different. I'd probably go out on a limb for linebacker Leo Lewis from Brookhaven (Miss.), because he has a chance to be special; and I would probably make Francois a five-star because quarterback is such an important position and he has all it takes to be great. The guy with the biggest potential bust factor of the five-stars in my opinion? Defensive end CeCe Jefferson simply because he's such a tweener. He is so good playing inside, but he doesn't have the size to do that at the next level. On the outside, he's not a long guy like you'd want in a rush end, and he's much more comfortable working off contact than beating people with speed. His film is great, he's fun to watch in person, but what position will he play? Last year, I said it was Speedy Noil for numerous reasons, and he had 46 catches for 583 yards and five scores as a freshman at Texas A&M, so what do I know?

Last year, I also said safety Quin Blanding was my "can't miss" guy for so many different reasons, and he's off to a great start in his college career. This year I'm going to say that Irwin is my "can't miss" guy; he will have an amazing career at Stanford, just watch. Will he be an NFL standout like Blanding will be? I'm not sure, but I do know he has a great chance at it.
