Negative here. Calloway was the only one not arrested for second degree robbery. Only the second robbery is there any mention only E Williams was doing it and that the other three were in the car. A crime is a crime. The facts as we know it is he was arrested and charged. And just because he was charged as a youthful offender does not change the fact he was guilty. You seem to infer because he was only involved in the robbery not the violence it is alright. And even if we are not privy to all the facts and every ones involvement in the end the fact is the rest of the country views the program as one that will win at all cost. You can bet if we win the NC this year there will be an article about Pettway once again somewhere. And yes I want UA to win, but I also want UA to been seen as a program that holds to a higher standard by demonstrating the university(their image) is greater than football.

Remember what Saban said when he dismissed all four players.

Saban says the players' "actions do not reflect the spirit and character we want our organization to reflect."

if you are riding with your buddy and he stops to get some beer in the convenience store, goes in and robs the place, gets back in the car with you and you drive off together, you are going to get arrested at the very least, even if you had no idea he did anything. you are going to get charged if you dont report him prior to being arrested. the fact that pettway was also charged means he was at least accessory after the fact by not reporting it, and for that he deserved to be kicked out. we dont know what his exact actions were either to deserve a second shot.

not sure where you get that from. he got kicked out of school like he should have. im saying the fact that he was let back in implies there was something different about his involvement than with the others, but we are not privy to the facts. If williams actually committed the violence and robbery, perhaps it was something like pettway was unaware what was going to happen and then refused to take any of the money or but also did not turn them in, we wont ever know unless he tells. but you know who does know? saban and bonner. it might be that hayes was in the same boat and just didnt want to come back here (didnt follow what happened to him). We know calloway was not present but did knowingly take money, dont know what his status would have been if he had wanted to return
