My basic point is that we didn't add a ton of weight to Allen and turn him into a DE, he was a DE from the first day of practice.

My point is that it doesn't matter what he eats himself into, we have the determining factor of what he would be. So if he is a certain size it isn't because he wants to be it, it's because our staff has chosen that.

But we appear to be moving away from jumbo OLBs and toward smaller, quicker OLBs (Evans, Miller, Brown) and at least a some smaller more explosive DEs (Allen, Hand) to combat HUNH.

I'll wait to see what they do with Evans and Miller.

He's not fat, nor was he ever. Just feel like that needs to be made clear.

Evans is a solid 220, MAYBE 225 right now. Miller is 210-215 at best. Doubt they get too big.

Not necessarily. Physiology is a factor. Why aren't Ryan Kelly and OJ 15 pounds heavier if the staff has total control of players' weight/size? Because their physiology is resistant to that change.

His junior year, Allen looked like Jason Taylor. By the Army game he looked like a completely different type of player/build. I suspect it would be very difficult if not impossible to undo an 18 year old's recent physical development so we get that Jason Taylor type player back.
