TJ Yeldon

Position: Running back

Pro comparison: Darren McFadden

While you probably won't see T.J. Yeldon operating out of a version of the Wildcat offense at Alabama, that doesn't mean he couldn't do it. But what makes him like former Arkansas star Darren McFadden is how his style of running compares to what McFadden has done in the NFL.

Both runners are fast yet powerful and can break a tackle as easily as they can outrun a defender. Yeldon hasn't shown his true potential yet in college because there hasn't been a need. But in big games, he has stepped it up a notch, much like McFadden did at Arkansas.

15' MS DL Fletcher Adams

quote:

Alabama impressed several recruits on campus for A-Day last weekend, snagging four commitments on Saturday. Four-star Brandon (Miss.) defensive tackle Fletcher Adams was not among them, but he said he was impressed as well.

"When you have a spring game like that, it normally is not a packed house like that," Adams said of Alabama's A-Day attendance of more than 73,000. "It was pretty awesome."

Adams (6-3, 260) ranked as the No. 16 defensive tackle prospect in the nation by both Rivals.com and 247Sports, was also impressed with the Tide's defensive play on Saturday, and said he's been told by Alabama coaches he could be a Jack linebacker or a defensive end in their system.

Adams said Alabama is currently No. 2 on his list, trailing only his leader -- Ole Miss. Mississippi State, Auburn and Georgia round out his top five, in order, though he reportedly does not have an offer from the Tigers.

Adams, who recorded 99 tackles and seven sacks as a junior, doesn't have any more visits scheduled right now, as he's getting ready to hit the field with his high school teammates for spring drills, but he's planning to take several more this spring and summer -- including Auburn, a campus he's never visited. He hopes to make a decision sometime before this fall.

What's he looking for? "Mainly just somebody that's going to take care of me -- getting a good education and possibly going to the next level if I'm good enough," he said.
