Not if he is announcing tonight which looks to be for AU.

Hope Prince doesn't flip, but if he does, I guess we're going in on Richmond. Just feels like Chidi isn't picking us. Unless he decided to announce tonight because he found out Prince may flip...I don't know.
I prefer those two over Richmond though Richmond is no slouch. I just see Prince and Chidi as elite LTs when they develop.

Would be bizarre to flip so soon after committing. Urban coming hard with the $$$$

I dont want Chidi if there is no chance he will qualify.

Per Tider Insider on KJ Hill:
quote:
--He had a great visit to Ohio State.
--Basically down to Alabama and Ohio State.
--Saban visiting his home this week on Wednesday.
--I won't be surprised if his decision is a made one day this week. Not sure if he will announce it this week or not.
--I still feel Alabama's chances are good. But Ohio State has made a strong case. It's tight according to someone close to it.
--If Custis and McGraw flip as has been speculated, and Alabama gets Charlot and Hill as thought, Alabama still has some wiggle room to add another player or two if the right ones.

That's the most awesome Key and Peel name yet, imo...
And of course, he's from Vegas.
Someone with the last name Williams needs to name their oldest son Hennessey. And have a younger brother and sister Stella and Stanley. That would be the perfect combo of ghetto name and cultural reference. I'd be a fan of Hennessey Williams, regardless of where he went.

@DrewDALIntel: Confirmed: Isaiah Prince did in fact visit Ohio State; this stemmed from not being happy about Alabama not letting him commit on his OV 2 T-Town
@DrewDALIntel: Alabama staff will vist @OkekeChidi96 tonight before he makes his verbal pledge & is slated to go see Isaiah & his family tonight #priority #IP

Maybe filling up this class so early was a mistake, we've got some guys who just won't be able to get in.
That said, I don't really want to lose anyone we currently have. Maybe Keaton Anderson or Matt Womack, but I like both of em as sleepers.

Then why commit if you are so upset about it. Because to me committing and then running off for a secret visit is sorting of mocking UA.

Is Tide OT commitment Prince wavering?
Sources have confirmed to BOL that recent Tide offensive line commit Isaiah Prince, who hails from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland, took an official visit to Ohio State on Saturday.
The news could be somewhat concerning to the Alabama camp, considering that Prince committed to the Crimson Tide a day earlier, filling a vital need among the offensive line.
Throughout the recruiting process, Prince heavily considered Ohio State and Maryland to go along with Alabama. Sources from the Ohio State camp are reporting that Prince had an outstanding visit and could possibly visit Maryland next weekend.
The Tide camp could have a better understanding of where things stand with Prince as Alabama head coach Nick Saban and assistant coach Mario Cristobal will be going in-home on Tuesday.
Prince is rated No. 105 nationally and the No. 7 offensive tackle according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
In other news, sources close to BOL can also confirm that Alabama is again putting the full court press on Memphis, Tennessee (Memphis University School) offensive tackle Drew Richmond. While the Ole Miss staff has been working overtime to lock down Richmond in recent days, sources indicate there continues to be mutual interest. How this relates to the news on Prince’s OSU visit remains to be seen.
Richmond is rated No. 54 nationally and the No. 3 offensive tackle according to the 247Sports Composite.

This is the most retarded fricking excuse to take a visit that I have ever seen.

I agree but what's even more retarded is, at the time, we had a spot for Keaton Anderson and couldn't tell this guy he had a spot on his visit?

Agree. Almost sounds like it is Drew's opinion, and not based on fact. Like Drew is trying to sound "insiderish" on it when all he knows for certain is what we do - that Prince took the visit - without knowing why.
I think there are rumblings out there that Saban and Mario may be trying to go see Prince tonight, which if true, would mean they are trying to get a yes or no before Chidi goes public.

I think you have it backwards.
They are supposed to visit Chidi tonight before his announcement and Prince tomorrow night.

quote:we recruit to positions of need. anderson is a hybrid safety/lb, and we do have a need for those. we took that kid holcombe last year. hes the kind of guy who makes alot of sense against spread hunh teams. i dont really have a problem with not kicking a lower rated kid out who wants to be here in favor of a prima donna guy who is going to pitch a fit over numbers when he could have commited at any point this year
we had a spot for Keaton Anderson and couldn't tell this guy he had a spot on his visit?
