1. No pass = no catch, Eli kept it alive.
2. The pass to manningham was one of the most perfectly placed passes ever seen
3. You're a dumb frick
1. It took the play by the receiver to make the catch. My point...it takes both the QB and receive to make the play.
2. According to Manningham, if his shoe was 1/2 size bigger, he would have been out of bounds. Eli gets credit for a great throw...but the receiver gets credit for the situational awareness to stay inbounds. Again...Manningham made a great play...to solely lay the play on "Eli's Intangibles" is myopic.
3. Maybe so...but I'm smarter than you.

1. Exactly, without both efforts they probably lose, they bailed the giants out, Eli needed no bailing out as he didn't play bad at all.
2. Manningham is a huge egotistical player, so of course he gives himself 100% credit. He also said he was better than the other receivers. Look at him now that he has left the giants. not one season over 500 yards.
3. Not saying much there are plenty of people smarter than me that are ignorant.
My original point, that you are arguing against, has been the quality of Eli's receivers throughout his career.
And you choose David tyree( terrible example) and Mario manningham ( hasn't done shite since leaving the gmen) as your examples for great receivers because they happen to be involved in one of Eli's historically clutch superbowl moments, I'm sorry Eli can't complete clutch passes to himself, I have the feeling even then you Peyton apologists would find a way to give credit to someone else.
No one is saying Eli is a better qb than Peyton, settle down. But acting like Peyton doesn't have weak points is laughable.
