Here in Dothan, AL - I didn't even attempt it today. Went home around 12:30, grabbed some Bojangles, and went into my nap mode. I'll likely be up all night now.

I doubt my Hyundai Sonata could've handled it.

It couldn't. Do you know how many of those and Honda Accords, Toyota Corollas, and basically any other mid sized SUV's I've seen on the side of the road today?

If you know how to drive in the snow it would have done fine. FWD is 90% as effective in snow as 4wd. As I said in the other thread I have lived in Ohio 3 times and north dakota. Best car in the snow I have owned was a 2006 Honda Accord. Couldnt get that thing loose. Clung to the road like a drowning cat. I had no problems today in my Fwd Escape. Course I also have snow rated a/ts. That's besides the point. Fwd in snow is fine, if you have experience. Experience doesn't really help with rear wheel drive. Every turn could be your last.
