I'm curious though, for those in or close enough to Atlanta to know much about the elected leadership and how poorly that city is ran, did anyone really expect this to be handled well? Put a bunch of people in charge of a city and situation like this who are only skilled at scamming the populace and this is what you get.
No. Kasim Reed and Nathan Deal failed. They did not properly warn the populace at all. All it would have taken was an announcement:
"Hey guys, it's gonna get pretty hairy around noon tomorrow. So we suggest that you just stay home, work from home if you can, so that we can keep congestion to a minimum."
Would everyone have taken this advice? No. But I can guarantee you that we don't have the problems we're currently having.

Listen to the yuppie sheep of suburban Atlanta. And notice, not only the dependence they have on their central planners...... but also the naive faith they have in them to be able to save them from everything.............
This is unbelievable to me.

Grantham should have told JHC and Trigga to bat the ball down on 4th, but instead JHC and Trigga batted the ball up. Fire Grantham.
