So many botched about the shutdown down here, but they just have Birmingham to look at to see the wisdom in that.
It's not like your weather people had a chance. The first hint that was going to happen came in a model run at midnight Tuesday.

Yall did the right thing. I ended my work at 10am yesterday. It didn't take a brain surgeon to realize the ground has been frozen from the last week of low temps. And weather, while somewhat predictable, is easily.. unpredictable. I'm not attempting to get on the roads until after lunch on Thurs.. at the earliest, and then only to the grocery store.
