I'm right there with you.

A total clusterfrick of ineptitude was shown across this state today. Ever since we got burned a couple of years ago with the snow scares which never came to fruition the educational adminstrators have been afraid to cancel classes. Well, wake up assholes, this is why it's better to err on the side of caution. And to anyone who says this is an overreaction - thousands of people risked their lives on the roads today because the decision makers didn't want to look stupid. Well, now you look really fricking stupid. Oh yeah, I mad.

When I was in Ohio they used a liquid pretreatment on the roads. Stayed on the road for days and melted everything before it could freeze. Would be much easier to work with than salt and also doesn't destroy vehicles and roads.

Should at the least should have planned a delay. This all started around 11. But they knew a hr or two before that things had changed and we were going to get blasted. Could have cancelled school before the delay ended and this wouldn't have happened. Incredible stupidity on the part of leadership.

Whats kinda weird is where the different accumulations happened. Oneonta got 4 inches,i Ashville got 3, but Anniston got less than an inch.
