The fact that Arkansas is ahead of New England states like Conneticut make it obvious this list is worthless.

Not sure what this is about, and not sure I want to read all the background, but anything that puts WV as #9 in anything to do with education is suspect from the start.

LA at 15 is actually pretty impressive considering the draconian higher ed cuts we've experienced.

Any ranking that has Louisiana in the top half is questionable at best.

Most of the study had very little to do with actual results or quality of education. When looking at student achievement, here were the results:
"C-"Grades:
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky

"D" Grades:
Arkansas
Alabama
Missouri
Tennessee
South Carolina

"F" Grades:
Louisiana
Mississippi

to lump entire states into one group is asinine. No way to compare, for example in Alabama, Mountain Brook, where 0% are eligible for free lunches, cannot be compared to somewhere like Marengo County schools, where probably 95% are on free lunches.

Any educational list with Kentucky, West Virginia, and Jersey in the top-10 is not legit.

Regardless, congrats?
