You mean exactly like Bama fans are doing with Coker. And ironically, Mett had actually started games at a collegiate level. Whereas Coker has been a spectator his entire "career". Having success at JUCo>>>>>anything Coker had accomplished

Coker will have a National Title ring from the 2013 season soooooooooo

maybe....maybe not. Why don't you stop predicting the future and just let it happen?

A college football message board may be over your head. In the off season, it's what people do.

So will Larry Lawson III. They both played about the same role in earning it.

Or it could be SEC fans circa 2011 with AJ McCarron. He never started, he had limited playing time, and he came in and won a national championship.

I'm going to fall off a limb here and say he will play at a high level with all the talent around him. I am going off a little tape and quotes from coaches that I have seen. Quotes are facts so it's a fact that he will be real good. Heisman good.

Not really sure what that has do to with the current situation

Well, Kiffin is a better coach than your OC but LSU fans seem convinced that Cameron is your savior and Kiffin is Bama's demise. But it won't matter after Bama gives the swamp kitties another beat down next year

AJ McCarron at least had time in the system, and was also more highly touted out of high school. Plus, the 2011 Alabama team is better than this 2014 Alabama team. A lot of differences, and the only thing alike is the breaking in a new quarterback as starter part.

Fwiw, Jarret Lee has as many rings as Coker. An obvious indicator of success.

Barrett Trotter and Clint Moseley, as well.

Updykes will be Updykes. There are some gems in this thread.

The USC football team may have something to say about your comment. Hell, they improved under Ed Orgeron.

Does Coker have the 2011 defense with him too?

No, I regret to say that the 2011 Alabama Crimson Tide Defense consisting of players such as Dont'a Hightower, CJ Mosley, Dee Milliner, and Mark Barron stopped playing as a team as of 1/9/12 when they defeated LSU 21-0 in New Orleans to secure a National Championship. However, this title is seen as a fraudulent title, because Alabama, despite fielding the best team in College Football that season, had already lost to LSU and did not deserve a mulligan, but the media disgustingly awarded them with one anyway.

I'm glad you admit it man. You're on your way to having a little less Bama in you and that's a good thing. Have a great day
