Several weeks ago it was reported that class of 2015 forward Chris Silva (Roselle, N.J./Roselle Catholic) would be visiting South Carolina September 12-14. Silva has a top five of Villanova, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, Kansas State and South Carolina. He has already taken visits to Rhode Island and Seton Hall and has yet to schedule his visit to Kansas State. Things have reportedly cooled between Silva and Villanova.

TheBigSpur has learned that South Carolina will also host class of 2015 guard Jacob Evans (Baton Rouge, La./St Michael the Archangel) this weekend as well. Evans has already visited Tulane and Auburn and will visit Cincinnati next weekend. The Gamecocks offered in June.
