Feel free to consider incoming freshmen that may contribute.

I feel pretty confident that Miss State will.

They rarely contribute at a level that could make a "best DL"

Auburn's line should be very good and improved from last year but while Carl Lawson should adequately replace Dee Ford, opposite of him we are at a loss. DT play should be good . Wouldn't be the best

Ole Miss should have a solid line as well but I don't know if they will be the "best"

I'm not saying Bama will have the best DL, but I think they will be greatly improved.

I will only say that LSU defensive line and LB's will be a complete unknown commodity in 2014. Could be anywhere from 14 to 1...

Ugas was already pretty good. We lose garrison smith, but take off a redshirt for taylor, and return ray drew and nose chris mayes. The backups all return as well. Toby johnson, sterling bailey, john atkins.

When i start thinking about the talent on dl, i start thinking 4-3. Then i try to figure out which lb to take out, and i say nah, 3-4.

Uga front 7 stacked. Just have to fix secindary

If we are playing this game, then UGA has 5 star Lamont Gaillard coming in at defensive tackle.

Throw in Lorenzo Carter, if he's good enough to earn a starting spot, he could be a hell of an edge rusher.

Can we count just the LBs? I feel good there. Very good. It's the front four that scare me.

I don't know about "best", but we'll have one of the tops in the SEC, I think.

DE - CJ Johnson, Carlos Thompson, DT Shackleford, Channing Ward
DT - Issac Gross, Robert Nkemdiche, Lavon Hooks

Freshmen who could see high contribution - Breeland Speaks, Garrald McDowell

I think AU will have the deepest by far especially at DT. DE is going to be a little light so I don't know. In all honesty if you look at starting 4 MSU might be my pick. Of all the teams I saw AU play this year MSU was probably the most impressive in just holding the line of scrimmage and Chris Jones is a monster

I don't know about this year because we will either have Brandon Ivory ( ) as NG or a true Freshman in Matt Elam (or Jarran Reed?). But if we can land Elam and he has a year in the develop under Cochran we will be nasty in 2015.

Jonathan Allen DE (Jr)
Matt Elam NG (So)
A'Shawn Robinson DE (Jr)
Da'Shawn Hand Jack or DE? (So)

I don't think it will be top of SEC, but I'm excited about Vandy's DLine. The only concern is that it seems we're switching to base 3-4, and I'm not sure we really have a big or strong enough NG. Azubike and Woestman are really good DEs, and Dixon and Butler are solid inside. We also have solid young talent for depth.

I would think Aub or UF. USC is replacing 3 starters from last year's DL, so not us. Although we do have a lot of DL guys who were decently rated (4stars) out of HS. My expectations for the DL this year are not as high for the squads from the past 4 years though.

I do like the 2 JUCO DE's we have coming in, Thomas is a 1st team JUCO All American and Caldwell is the #1 JUCO WDE on rivals and 247.
