I watched it.

He has a bad habit of staring down receivers, particularly over the middle. Linebackers and safeties anticipated his throws too many times, and there were quite a few dropped interceptions as a result.

Arm strength looks good, and he throws with confidence on slant patterns and curls.

Scrambling ability is actually worse than I expected. He has a tendency to run aimlessly if his first receiver isn't open. That led to big losses against unimpressive competition (Bethune Cookman, backup players for Nevada and Boston College, etc.). He can be effective on the occasional qb sneak, though, if teams aren't prepared for it.

In general, Coker needs a lot more reps. If he ends up starting, his first few games could be very shaky.
