Just curious as to who those who don't have a rooting interest for either team would prefer. Here is the best stats for both with a breakdown of each's best year with what IMHO are their best measures:
Mark Ingram:
Best Year: 2009
vs ranked teams: 150 att, 941 yards, 6.3 Avg, 8 TD
vs SEC: 194 att, 1143 yards, 5.9 avg., 10 TD
vs Non-Conf: 77 att, 515 yds,6.7 avg. 7 TD
32 Receptions for 334 yards, 3 TDs
2008: 143 att, 728 yards, 5.1 Avg, 12 TD
2009: 271 att, 1658 yards, 6.1 Avg, 17 TD
2010: 158 att, 875 yards, 5.5 Avg, 13 TD
Tre Mason
Best Year: 2013
vs ranked teams: 176 att, 970 yds, 5.5 avg, 10 TDs
vs SEC: 238 att, 1289 yds, 5.4 avg, 17 Tds
vs Non-Conf: 70 att, 529 yds, 6.7 avg, 6 TD
12 receptions 163 yds. 1 TD
2011: 28 att, 161 yds, 5.8 avg, 1 TD
2012: 171 att, 1002 yds 5.9 avg, 8 TD
2013: 317 att, 1816 yds 5.7 avg, 23 TD
Overall, Mason has more TDs and yards, but also had a much greater workload under Gus's system. What do you guys think?
And yes, I realize this will most likely end in a pissing contest.

Eeeeehhhhhhhhhhh I don't know, I guess if forced I would take Mason.

Mason(516) had fewer career carries than Mark(572).
Tre basically played two seasons, one in Gus' system, and a bowl game in 2011.

You aren't going to get any honest answers. Most LSU fans don't like Ingram b/c of his disappointing career with the Saints (though, thankfully, he finally started playing well late). So now you're down to 11 SEC programs that have any history with both players (taking out Mizzou & A&M since they only know Mason first hand).
You'll get a near equal mixture of hatred for both players due to hatred of both teams, though, to be honest, most fan bases hate Bama more than AU (2012 helped build up some good will for AU after the negative will they got in 2010).

The one who won the Heisman.

Mason had a better year than any of the ones Ingram had. Career wise, I think Ingram is better

Which one wins my team a national title?

Mason for sure. Ingram never deserved the Heisman.

Richardson. Or Lacy.

Ingram by an electron of an atom of a molecule of a pubic hair.
Honestly I'd take either one.
Put it this way:
The year Ingram won the Heisman, Mason probably would have won it too, or come darn close.
The year Mason was a finalist (this past year), I think Ingram may have not won, but finished higher.

Math must not be your strong suit. I looked at this for about 10 seconds and saw that.

Ingram. The read option helped mason as people at least did not know if he was getting the ball.
