Check out how he did at the Elite 11 (y'know, as opposed to how your QB recruit did).

Mangus is weird when it comes to QBs. He has a lot of autonomy to offer and scout who he likes, and he saw something in Scarnecchia that piqued his interest, so he took him after we missed out on the kid from Kentucky.

Considering what Mangus did with a couple of lightly recruited kids named Connor Shaw and Dylan Thompson, I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt.

As far as Terry is concerned, if that guy ever contributes at UGA in a meaningful way, I'll be stunned. That said, while I understand kids leaving Georgia and going out of state (just because of sheer volume), I will never understand a kid from SC going to UGA, especially if that player has any designs on moving back to SC after their playing days are over.

I have no criticisms about how S. Carolina recruits and develops QBs. They do it very well. Same goes for Richt and Co., though. Anyone who criticizes the way Georgia goes about recruiting and developing QBs simply hasn't been paying attention.

As to Terry, why do you say that? Because of the injury?
