Overrated as f*#k. I do not want to waste our top draft pick on him just because his name is Matthews. He got absolutely OWNED against Sam & Ealy in the Mizzou game and LSU beat him pretty soundly all game. Those were two of the top D's he faced all year and he SUCKED. No thank you.

He had a poor game? Well get rid of him along with any other player that has ever had a bad game. Not sure who that would actually leave on the board...

Personally I don't give a crap if it is Matthews, it just fricking better be an OT. That is the biggest need on the team and it isn't close. Anything else is a Band-Aid on a severed artery.

Sam or Ealy should be our second round pick, btw, one of them should be there.

Game(s)..I personally have yet to see the hype with him. He's listed as a mauler in the run-game..when I watched his games they ran to the left about 2 times and Ealy shedded Matthews like a cheap suit and tackled Malena in the backfield. I just don't see him as any more than average. My point is that he is not worthy of a top 10 pick. If we can get him later then by all means, but he is being WAY overhyped. I'd honestly take Robinson due to his awesome run-blocking and the potential to learn pass-pro at the NFL level. He has more upside. I'd love to see them grab Hageman, Ealy, Sam, Donald, Mack, or any of these guys who just are good, physical football players. The Falcons have too many "nice" guys in the trenches.
