Alumni who don't really look back

Some.....Most alumni like Shaq, Shaun Alexander, Peyton Manning, Charles Barkley, Bubba Watson..... really most everyone who goes on to success will come back every now and then or tweet #GoTeam stuff on game day... or at the least identify themselves as fans.
But some, be it for only staying one year, leaving on a sour note or a professional conflict, don't seem to care much about their alma maters, never show up for reunions or really mention their school unless directly asked (and are visibly turned off). Who is Eddie Murphy to your school's SNL.
Note: While not restricted to athletes.... criminals or disgraced politicians don't count, we frankly wish they'd never mention us again.

Are you referring specifically to Cam Newton?

Justin Smith of the 49ers has 0 attachment to Mizzou. He chose to leave early because we fired Larry Smith

Cam Newton never comes back to any of our reunions.

No one. You can't turn your back on family.

Of all the guys Cal has had thus far, the only one that doesn't at least throw out the occasional #GoTeam stuff is probably Daniel Orton. He didn't particularly like Demarcus Cousins getting more PT than him.

Aaron Hernandez really didn't care about UF after leaving (pre-murder charges, too).

I'm not sure what the relationship is but I know SC fans get mad that Sidney Rice says his high school rather than South Carolina when announcing himself.
With that said I know Spurrier wasn't too happy that he left a year earlier than he told Spurrier he would.
Also, I don't know if the schedules have never meshed together, or if there has ever been an invite extended, but SC has had several NFL players come back for games but I don't believe Rice has been back since he left (someone please correct me if I'm wrong)

I can't really think of one off the top of my head....
Dmac, Felix, Peyton, that whole group still comes around.
John Daly still hangs out.
Possibly the most notable athlete may be Tyson Gay. He was involved in NCAA investigations that cost our program a national title.
