I looked back at the last two classes, and not counting JUCO guys that will be gone next year, we only have 1 defensive lineman we signed that is a 4 star or better... Gaillard. There were some WDE's listed but they became linebackers.

If Ray Drew and Sterling Bailey leave after this year, and Mayes and Toby Johnson are out of eligibility, Mike THornton graduates we are going to have a rough time on DL.

Trent makes the scenario sting less , but if TT and Gaillard are the only guys worth a shite Star-wise, that could be really ugly.

We'll still be deep with talented LB's and WR's, and pretty much everywhere else, including OL assuming our two current commits actually make it on campus. That's what initially worried me.

But I didn't realize how shallow we are about to be at DL.

No real notable targets left for this class either..... not listed on 247 anyway.

Makes me nervous.

Also have 4* Chauncey Rivers committed and still in pursuit of Jonathan Ledbetter and Albert Huggins. We're fine on the DL

DeLoach was a 3 star but is arguably our best DL on campus right now. Bama has had some wardaddys that were rtes 2 and 3 stars along the DL. Recruiting rankings are fun but an inexact science. I look at offer sheets before I look at stars.
