If LSU loses out on Patterson, at least y'all have another five-star in Franks. If we lose out on him, well, dammit. Our mods are really confident despite him being a Louisiana prospect with a brother that coaches at LSU. That scares me because after the last few days, I just don't know how much more recruiting heartbreak I can take.

Yeah, Franks and Patterson competed against each other at LSU's summer camp, and all of the analysts said it was dead even. Patterson is more polished, but Franks has a ridiculous ceiling with his size and speed.

But if Patterson is as close to Mykel Jones as LSU fans have heard, he might be worth telling Franks to take a hike
I think Willie Allen will go down to the wire with LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss. Probably LSU-Bama if your boy Matt Luke gets canned

Yeah, I think it's well-known that he doesn't feel obligated to stay instate. I think his recruitment is very much in Ole Miss' favor if he doesn't wait to see if LSU's offense shows tangible improvement. Les is feeling some serious heat from the donors and media about our shite show of an offense

If Patterson does sign with Ole Miss, those three match ups against each other will be all about them. Well, for our two fanbases at least.

LSU feels really good about Alexander to be honest, and that was even before O was hired by LSU.

LSU fans want both, but we're hearing from the national analysts that Rashard Lawrence from Monroe will sooner or later be ranked higher than Alexander. He's arguably bigger and more importantly healthier. LSU wants both, but it could get really crowded with Ed Oliver from Texas saying LSU is his favorite. Bryson Guidry and Glen Logan will also end up at LSU or a major SEC program.

Basically, there's a shite ton of great DL talent in Louisiana next season, and with Steele wanting to eventually go to a 3-4, Ole Miss will get one of those guys listed above. He also runs a 4-2-5 a lot, so I think LSU gets 3 of the guys listed above, while 2-3 others head to big time programs

I just watched EA's tape and I'm not seeing how anyone is ranked higher than him... Dude dominates with bad intentions

He's really good, but didn't he sit out this past season with an injury? I'm not positive. Pretty sure it was Barton Simmons on 24/7 who said Lawrence makes a good case to be ranked higher due to his health. EA is still quite the physical specimen

LSU's ideal scenario is Alexander, Lawrence, and Oliver. My God O would lose his shite getting to work with that talent.

at us speculating on 2016 with 2015 signing day in 24 hours. This is a sad addiction, baws.

Recruiting has just gotten so painful to follow. The Information Age has fricked "insiders", on top of twitter giving these kids a platform to screw with everyone's heads. While some of these 'croots are mature about the process, I'm amazed at how there are more that don't understand how high the stakes are for their signature.

By the way, ya'll think Leo is gone to State? Part of me feels like this has been some diabolical plan mullen had to turn on Freeze, but while I never believed it, the LSU side has been really confident for awhile about landing him

I've said it multiple times lately. But they are shite headed 17-18 year old boys. Do you think they actually care how important their signature is?

One thing I learned after having multiple classes with a lot of players is that compared to 90% of them is fans CARE A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN THEY DO.

I remember when we were in talks about getting Masoli pretty early on and asking some of the players (some starting WRs actually) if they were excited Masoli possibly coming and then asking "who?" And they simply said we are just here to play football we don't keep up with all that kinda shite.

So again (most) of these players don't care about coaches and fans. They just want their spotlight and enjoy living in it. Hell if I was that talented I would troll the frick outta everyone and make a huge scene in my recruitment. No doubt.

Watching my little brother go through the process, this is exactly true. All they care about is the game, they're just picking which flavor they want and they have no preference.

Has anyone seen the picture floating around of Leo with a large stack of hundos? Did The Network get to him? Or did state sell some cows to come up with some cash?
